How do i know if it is right for me?
This treatment is best suited for candidates with poor circulation in the thigh, buttock and hip region. In order to determine if this is you, after 30 minutes of exercise (for example jogging or cycling) touch the skin around your legs, buttocks, hips, stomach and chest. If the skin on your upper body is warm, but your thighs and buttocks feel cold, then you are prone to the development of cellulite and fat build-up. This is because fat cannot be lost by way of normal training due to the poor blood supply in these areas.

Is HYPOXI painful?
No, it is completely non-invasive and pain-free. Many clients comment that the alternating pressure in the chamber creates an invigorating feeling on the skin. The horizontal position in which the treatment is administered in the L250 and HDC takes pressure off the joints and lowers the client’s heart rate so that the experience is more likened to spa therapy than a form of exercise.

Can i use HYPOXI if i’m not fit?
Hypoxi training is designed for men and women of all fitness levels and ages. Throughout the treatment, your heart rate and skin temperature are constantly monitored. Hypoxi training does not require any particular degree of physical fitness and is perfect for someone who is thinking about getting back into exercise for the first time in years. You will be required to complete a client information form when you attend your studio, as there are certain illnesses & conditions which preclude people from undertaking treatments. If in doubt, we recommend you speak to a medical professional – your safety is paramount to us.

How many sessions do you recommend for best results?
In order to achieve the best results, we recommend each client to undertake a minimum of 12 sessions.

How many times a week should it be done? And how long are the sessions?
For optimal results, HYPOXI training should be undertaken 3 times a week for a consecutive 4 week period. It is advisable to have them spread throughout the week, however this is not mandatory.

How long does it take?
Hypoxi is perfect for the time poor because each session only takes 30 minutes to achieve optimal fat-burning results. The HDC is only 20 minutes which means if you use it in conjunction with a Hypoxi device you can be in and out in under an hour!

What happens in the first free consultation?
During the consultation we explain to you in more detail how the machine works and discuss any further queries you may have about the treatment. There is a disclaimer form to be filled out and then we proceed with measurements and customizing your program settings. You then experience a 30 minute free trial to further your understanding of what HYPOXI is, how it works and how it feels to determine whether or not HYPOXI is for you.

What do i need to bring to my session?
For your session we require that you bring a loose fitting pair of track pants, a comfortable top for exercising, running shoes, drink bottle and a towel.

What are the potential benefits?

What sort of results can i expect to achieve?
Naturally, results are going to vary between each individual. However as a guide, of a random sample of clients taken from a Sydney studio, not one individual lost less than 20cm from all 7 measure points after 12 treatments in the L250/S120.

A controlled study conducted on the effects of HYPOXI training concluded that individuals using HYPOXI lost 3 times more circumference in the lower half of the body than those that carried out conventional exercise. That is, HYPOXI training can dictate/isolate where the majority of fat will be lost during exercise.

Are results permanent?
Yes, results are permanent. The body is working the hard-to-target areas and thus, if you maintain a healthy diet and consistent exercise regime the fat should not return to these areas.

How much are sessions?
One session is $69 if you opt for a pay as you go basis. There is a 3 session ‘Try Me’ Package @ $189, 6 session package @ $360 and the recommended 12 session package @ $690, so essentially you receive two free sessions if you choose this method of payment.

What are the dietary requirements? Do i have to diet?
HYPOXI is a proven method which does not require a strict diet to be imposed in conjunction with the treatments. However, in order to achieve great results we have a list of simple guidelines you must abide by:

1. No carbohydrates 2 hours before or 4 – 6 hours after treatment.
2. No fat burning or cardio activity 2 hours before or 4 – 6 hours after treatment
3. No large heavy meals after 7pm;
4. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day;
5. Carry out HYPOXI treatments 3 times per week;
6. Maintain a healthy, balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables;
7. Limit alcohol, sugar and fat intake;
8. Reduce caffeine intake; AND
9. Exercise on your non – HYPOXI training days!
